eosrose: (Podfic)
[personal profile] eosrose

Sign ups are now open for the second round of [community profile] podfic_gsd! We will be running from March 30-April 5 with our first check-in going live March 31st at Midnight CST. Latecomers are welcome to sign up here and jump in at any time during the week. Please don't hesitate to jump in and join us in setting personal goals and sharing self-satisfaction and squee. ♥

You will have the option to check in with us each day to update us on your progress or you may simply check in as you find the time. We aim to provide a relatively stress-free environment for personal accountability. You will be welcome to share snippets of what you’ve been working on, ask for help if you need it, and participate in mutual cheerleading and encouragement.

Sign up now, if you would like some encouragement and accountability as you:

  • podfic up a storm for the annual [community profile] amplificathon challenge;
  • push to finish a chunk of your [livejournal.com profile] extreme_bigbang (final products are due in just 15 weeks!);
  • start on your Cakebang podfic;
  • generally make progress recording and/or editing any other podfics in your queue;
  • upload and publish finished podfic that has been sitting on your harddrive;
  • design the podfic cover art you’ve been putting off;
  • design podfic covers for COVER ME! An Emergency Podfic Coverart Meme;
  • complete some archivist duties for the audiofic archive;
  • listen to the backlog of podfic you’ve downloaded but haven’t had a chance to enjoy;
  • comment on all those podfics you’ve listened to recently;
  • organize a podfic challenge or incorporate podfic into an existing challenge;
  • aim to make progress on any other type of podfic-related work.

About

Each month the community will host a GSD Week:

Day 1: Participants will declare their podfic-related goal for the week. This goal may include recording, editing, designing cover art, archiving, posting, organizing challenges, or anything else related to podfic fandom.

Day 2-6: Participants will (optionally) check in daily with a report of their progress. This is a good opportunity to share snippets of works in progress.

Day 7: Participants will declare their total progress for the week and determine whether or not they've met their personal goal.

Everyone is welcome to drop by and encourage participants in their endeavors. ♥
