Each month the community will host a GSD Week:
Day 1: Participants will declare their podfic-related goal for the week. This goal may include recording, editing, designing cover art, archiving, posting, organizing challenges, or anything else related to podfic fandom.
Day 2-6: Participants will (optionally) check in daily with a report of their progress. This is a good opportunity to share snippets of works in progress.
Day 7: Participants will declare their total progress for the week and determine whether or not they've met their personal goal.
Everyone is welcome to drop by and encourage participants in their endeavors. ♥

I have completed the first pass edit of my 11k wd fic!! Which I don't think I mentioned before is actually for Cakebang. w00t! Plus I also managed a couple of minutes on that other 5k wd story, which is my stretch goal.
What challenges are you currently facing?:
Sick child, family vacation starting tomorrow, lack of sleep... and again with the crippling perfectionism. That 5k fic is just kicking my ass -- I am having issued matching the sound-quality on the rerecorded lines I'm inserting. Even though the overall reading itself will be great, I'm so sensitive about the sound-quality that I'm tempted to just scrap it all and start over with a new recording. But I have been working on this for ONE YEAR. And I am only able to record a couple times a year in the first place. So starting over would be madness. Y/N? *urgh*
